What if dorm life never ended? Could you share living space/parts of it with other people as an adult?

The new grammar lesson plan “Inside the co-living craze” will introduce us to a new interesting trend “co-living” (by analogy with “co-working”), which helps young people find good housing in a convenient location for not all the money in the world. This lesson is perfect for teenagers and adult students of B1 level.

This topic will be especially relevant for young people who live in large cities and have difficulty finding good housing at affordable prices.

The lesson plan uses vocabulary from the video that can be used to discuss everyday topics:
⁃ have privacy
⁃ share a kitchen
⁃ socialize with someone
⁃ can/can’t afford living prices
⁃ organize entertainment
⁃ hold movie nights
⁃ save a few dollars
⁃ don’t disturb everyone around

Also, through various exercises, your students will practice their listening skills. Next, using examples of sentences from the video and additional tasks, grammar is considered, namely articles and the main cases of their use for the level B1-B1+.

For homework, you can do your own research and analyze whether there are similar places where your students live.
